Nooraya luminous open-setting polki jewellery

Creations

Nooraya

Light, airy, luminous open polki.

The Collection

Jewellery made of light

Nooraya takes its name from noor, the Persian word for light, and every piece is designed to hold it. Here the Polki is set in open settings, freed from heavy backing so that daylight passes through the uncut diamonds and returns as a soft, living glow.

Where tradition can be dense, Nooraya is deliberately airy. Fine gold traceries suspend each stone with the lightness of lace, so the jewellery feels weightless against the skin and luminous in every changing light.

This is Polki reimagined for the modern woman, delicate enough for the everyday yet radiant enough for the occasion. Nooraya is heritage worn lightly, brilliance without weight.

Nooraya open-setting craftsmanship

Craft Signature

The art of the open setting

The luminosity of Nooraya comes from its open settings. Rather than backing each diamond with foil and closed gold, our artisans mount the uncut stones so light can enter from behind, releasing the natural fire of the Polki.

It is a more exposed and unforgiving way to work. Every mount must be perfectly balanced, every gold thread precisely placed, so the finished piece feels as light as it looks. The result is jewellery that seems to catch and hold the day.
